In cooperation with Åland Island’s Archipelago Association a marvelous program was put together including trips to smaller islands Vårdö and Sottunga visiting the municipality, schoolhouses, Christmas market, sightseeing and making friendship.

We enjoyed the luxurious meals at Kallas farm and Stallhagen running brewery. Getting to know the story of local apple orchard was inspiring to all of us.

Christian Ekström was in charge of guiding, transport, accommodation and food. Excellent service at Stalldalen – flexible and masterful. Being the 17-th generation ålander he knows everything and can manage everything. Besides his own business Christian is doing a great job helping Ukraine.

Thank You Anna Hildén and Henna-Mari Koski for organizing such a specific tour. We are enlightened, refreshed and proud of being islanders.
