ESIN, represented by Christian Pleijel with Elefteris Kechagioglou as a substitute, has been selected as member of the coming structured dialogues of the European Structural and Investment Funds’ group of experts.
The regional policy of the European Union is implemented through five Funds: the European Regional Development Fund, the Cohesion Fund, the European Social Fund, the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The group of experts is representing umbrella organisations at EU level, having a specific interest in the European Structural and Investment Funds, and being able to support the Commission as regards of cohesion policy, transport energy, environment, economy, agriculture and fisheries.
The first experts meeting will be held 12 November in Brussels.
This is a great achievement for ESIN.
