In the end, Lefteris never was a candidate. He has now taken on a responsability for insularity policies in the POTAMI (“The River”) Green party. Good luck Lefteris – you have a tough job ahead of you but you have ESIN to back you up!

The President of the Hellenic Small islands network Mr Eleftherios Kechagioglou, former Marine Officer (Captain), is a candidate in the Greek Parliament elections held on January, 25.

Lefteris – as his friends call him – is running for the Greens. The ESIN Board would surely benefit having an MP among its members. We wish Lefteris good luck!
